Backgammon Lite is a very simple game of backgammon for the Macintosh. To play you will need a friend, a pair of dice and you also need to know the rules of the game. Since the rules to backgammon are fairly lengthy I have not included them. You can find a complete set of rules on the internet.
INSTRUCTIONS
Click on a piece you would like to move and drag it around the screen, let go of the mouse button to drop the piece. To exit the game when you are done press the Escape key.
COMPATIBILITY
Backgammon Lite is compatible with both 68k and PowerPC machines. Backgammon Lite now runs perfectly! I have found the bug that caused Backgammon Lite to crash all the time and it is fixed in version 1.2. I have not been able to test Backgammon on any computer other than my iMac, so if you encounter any other problems please contact me. Backgammon requires that you set your monitor to 256 colours prior to launching the application.
